Sabah Agriculture Park is located in the district of Tenom. It is a visitor friendly park which offers you more than just any other parks. With its affinity to nature, the park is set against a background of truly natural landscape with lush greenery of the Crocker Range (the longest range in the country) which creates a picture of a beautiful natural park all around. This park is knowledge oriented and recreational. The park also provides an ideal environment for nature-based activities that makes this park a worthy holiday destination. This is an excellent base to expand your knowledge on the taxonomy of plants that fits your taste and needs as well as the perfect escape from urban noise and pollution. It will close on Monday.

This southbound tour begins with a drive to Beaufort, a rural town situated at the confluence of the Padas and Pegalan rivers. On arrival, free to explore the town before departure.
0810 hrs
Depart Beaufort town for Tenom town, a journey which will take approximately 2hrs 40 mins. Enroute the railcar will traverse along the Padas River and villages.
1040 hrs
Arrive Tenom town, board transport for the Tenom Agricultural Park, a journey which will take approximately 25 minutes. Register at the entrance and proceed for a tour of this agricultural park. Officially launched in March 25, 2001 by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the agriculture park showcase Sabah's rich agricultural heritage. In the beautifully landscaped gardens are some of the most unique plants from the fragrant to the rare and exotic Borneo orchids. Here you can discover the magic of the tropics from the evolution of plants to today's incredible diversity of native and introduced species.

Depart the park for Tenom town, lunch at a local restaurant.
1430 hrs
After lunch, proceed to Tenom Train Station to board train for Beaufort. This time the return journey will allow visitors to enjoy "a train ride" with the only train service in Borneo.
1730 hrs
On arrival at Beaufort town, board transport for return transfer to Kota Kinabalu.
2030 hrs Arrive at Hotel in the city of Kota Kinabalu.
